The Sadowsky MasterBuilt Series stands for the high-end range instrument range. The use of finest woods, the lightweight body, the very famous active Sadowsky electronics and a bunch of selectable options through the Custom Shop give the bass player the possibility the get an instrument tailored to his special needs. Based on the classic body design but also own creations like the Single Cut Bass Roger Sadowsky shows what is meant by modern bass design. His Sadowsky trademark sound – never harsh or shrill, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids and a sweet and airy treble range you can find also in this range. The 4-string version – features a sleek undersized J-Style Red Alder body, a fingerboard made of Morado – also known as Pau Ferro, a J/J-Style pickup set, active electronics with true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, treble and bass boost, ultralight Hipshot tuners and the special Sadowsky bridge for quick string release. This model is exclusively made in Germany.
All basses are lightweighted with approximately 8.4 pounds. A good choice for bass players who are looking for a lightweight solution for the stage in addition to a modern bass sound.
