As the latest creation from Ludwig USA’s Monroe facility, Keystone Series Drums have the distinction of a more focused tonality. The 3-ply Maple core used in our Classic Maple drums is augmented with 1/16” inner and outer plys of American Red Oak.
This 5-ply combination creates a thin, dense shell that speaks loudly with quick, even decay. To draw further from this unique hybrid, a dual 45-degree bearing edge is pulled to the center of the shell to seat perfectly into the head.

Series Drums come standard with Evans USA G2 batter heads, and new low-contact Keystone lugs and mounting brackets. These dramatic accents are augmented by four stunning glass glitter finishes for dramatic look and feel.

NEW Keystone Series Drums have a louder, more focused sound. This 5-ply combination creates a thin, dense shell that speaks loudly with quick, even decay.

Drums are made in the USA on the same production line as Legacy and Classic Maple drums, but will be made for Stock, rather than made to order like other USA drums.

Shells are 5-ply, with 1/16" inner and outer plies of American Red Oak and a 3-ply Maple core, and a dual 45-degree bearing edge at the center of the shell.

Features the new low-contact Keystone lug and mounting bracket for a dramatic look and feel.

Choose from two new shell packs and four stunning Glass Glitter finishes (Psych Red Glass, Orange Glass, Deep Blue Glass, and Mint Oyster Glass.)
